BOMBPROOF HORSES DO EXIST !!!!!!!!!!

Dave is a 20 year old Throroughbred Gelding with an incredible nature.

He does not act his age and most who meet him are amazed to find out his real age.

He has no signs of arthritis whatsoever and is completely sound in everyway. In great condition for his age with many years riding left in him yet!!

He is 16hh and an absolute gentle giant.

Dave has spent approx 6 months on lease with an 11year old girl who needed a confidence builder and they did really well together.  Since returning from lease, he has been used for lessons with a 12yr old beginner and also has been doing trail rides with us which he loooves!! Not spooky at all.

Dave is bay with black points and is a lovely quiet kind boy – this gentle giant is truly one of a kind.

He would suit a complete beginner or very nervous rider and would be a great confidence builder.
He has a very laid back nature and is easy to handle in every respect.

He has 3 lovely slow paces with easy transitions.

Very soft mouth and unbeatable brakes.

He can tend to be a tad lazy at times, but with a squeeze of your legs he’ll wake up and work very nicely for you.

He has done lots of trail, bush and beach riding, and is experienced in pony club.

Dave truly is one of a kind with a one in a million temperament.

Super safe to ride for any rider – adult or child and can be left in the paddock for months, then you get on and he’s just as quiet as he always is.

A pleasure to have around and a fantastic mount for a rider who is still learning as he is very forgiving and gentle.

Dave was quite neglected when he came to us - (see pics below) and was rather skinny and bony. He has been with us for around a year and a half now and has porked up a lot!! He is now a solid build and spends quite a bit of time in the "Jenny Craig" paddock as he has been so round lately!!

Dave loads himself on the float, and always come to meet you at the gate. Also super for the farrier!!
