~ FAITH HAS BEEN ADOPTED ~

Our lovely little lady Faith will be leaving us soon to head to her new home.

She has been adopted by Kylie who has started her own Horse Rescue Program and Kylie intends to continue rehabilitaing Faith.

I'm sure Faith will be very happy when she arrives at her new home.

~ BEAUTIFUL FAITH NEEDS A NEW HOME ~

Faith came to us in a malnourished and neglected state. She was very skinny and has picked up immensely in the last few months of being with us. She is still light in condition but nowhere near as bad as she was. She is out of any danger now and just needs to continue to slowly gain weight. She is an aged girl of approx 20-25 years but apart from being a bit skinny, she is actually in quite good condition – she has a good thick full winter coat, healthy hooves with no cracks, and spritely but calm nature. All in all she’s a very sweet mare who will make someone very happy.

She has been sat on bareback twice and also saddled and bridled but not ridden properly as I feel she still needs to gain more weight before she is put through any ridden assessments.Unfortunately due to lack of time and too many horses, we are at a point where we need to look at re-homing her. She’d suit a companion horse as she’s very friendly with other horses. Maybe make a good nanny for weanlings, or with further work could be suitable for a riding mount or lead rein. She was an angel to saddle up – not girthy and very calm and accepting of the whole thing. She is very quiet to handle on the ground and doesn’t kick or bite and stands nicely to be brushed and fussed over. Would be great for someone who wants to teach their kids about caring for a horse as children could safely handle her and lead her around without supervision as she is very kind and laidback.

I do not guarantee her riding ability though or what level rider she may suit as this has not and will not be assessed.

Floats brilliantly – never had any problems at all. Her front teeth are very worn but she grazes as well as any other horse from what I can tell. She does need her teeth done so the new owners will need to organise a dentist to file them. Can be tricky to catch but with a bucket she’s your best friend.

The adoption price on Faith is $200 to a loving home only.
