Our resident "Moo" cow

Fred as we affectionately call her, is our resident Moo Cow. (and yes, we know she has a boy's name but it suits her).

Fred was only a tiny little calf when she graced our paddocks. She was super skinny & basically a tiny bag of bones.

She has gradually put on weight over time and has now turned into a cute little cow. She's still little, as being so under-nourished has stunted her growth, but all in all she's a happy, friendly girl who love carrots and thinks she's a horse.

She is the only cow we have and lives in the herd with an average of around 10 horses or varying sizes.

She is so funny to watch - when the horses get hyped up and bolt around the paddock, little fred goes with them & loves it, she bucks & carries on just like a hypo little pony would. I'd love to get a pic of it, but we're always too busy laughing at her.

Isnt she just the cutest thing - we all love her !!! and she is just gorgeous the way she waits for us at the gate !!!
