This little girl is the sweetest thing. She is approx 13.1hh and is aged (20+).
She is white in colour and is a CHUNKY lady.
Soda was rescued from the doggers where she was bound for terrible things.
She was HUGE when we got her and hadn’t seen a brush in at least 2 years – she looked more like a sheep with the way her coat was!!
Her coat is much nicer now but she’s still a bit fluffy but her summer coat is coming through so she’ll be looking much better in a month or two.
Soda’s feet were like surfboards, they were so long that she could hardly walk and just stood in the one spot all the time. We have had her feet trimmed up and she loooves it. She does have arthritis in her legs so moves a bit stiffly but seems to be a happy girl and really enjoys life. After her feet had been done we let her into a large paddock and she trotted around for about 15 mins just checking things out and meeting her paddock buddies – VERY CUTE !!!
Due to her arthritis Soda wont be able to be ridden except for the odd pony ride for kiddies. Soda is extremely quiet and would be a great pony to teach the kids about how to care for a horse and groom etc.. as she loves attention and will stand very nicely and quietly. She has taught ton’s of kids to ride over the years so deserves a loving home where she can enjoy her retirement.
Unsure of her breeding but would guess that she’d be a welsh mountain pony.
